My name is Richard Rodriguez, I was born and raised here in Tucson, AZ, and love our Old Pueblo. My music reflects this bond I've had here, I'm very southwestern sounding. I play nylon strings, so I have a spanish hint to my sound. I excel at weddings and high end functions. I'm classically trained, so there's a level of musicianship that shines bright.

It all started when I was five years old, I got mesmerized listening to an album on our little turntable. I got lost listening to the Beatles, ' Let it be' , this opened my world up. My fingers were too small at this point, so I didn't seriously start playing until I was nine. Then it was a powerful journey through taking all the music classes and joining all of the school bands through High School. I was always talented and worked hard on this gift for over fifty years now, it's brought me great experiences in my life.

I'm on most streaming services including Spotify, Apple Music and two YouTube channels.  I currently play at El Conquistador, The Omni, La Paloma, Westward Look and Starr Pass, fine resorts that welome my sound.  My events are posted here on ‘shows’.
